Washington Stage Guild switches it up in 2016!
St. Nicholas by Conor McPherson
“A One-Man Comedy With Bite”– The Washington Post
The Washington Stage Guild continues its landmark 30th season with a change in the schedule! St Nicholas by Conor McPherson, an acclaimed one-man show by the author of The Weir and This Lime Tree Bower, will switch places with the previously announced Back To Methuselah: As Far As Thought Can Reach. That play by George Bernard Shaw will now anchor the 2016-2017 season to mark the company’s 30th anniversary.
A jaded Dublin theatre critic obsessed with a young actress abandons everything to follow her to London. It doesn’t go well. But a chance meeting with a vampire leads to an unexpected new job that keeps him occupied most nights, anyway.
Featuring Bill Largess.
“Bill Largess is simply delicious as the theater critic turned pimp for vampires in the weird one-man comedy St. Nicholas.”– The Washington Post
St. Nicholas contains strong language, many references to drinking, and mature themes.
