Since the current CDC Covid community risk level is LOW, the Washington Stage Guild has amended its mask/vaccination policy for audience members as follows:
masks recommended (not required)
in the theatre for all guests, regardless of vaccination status, and proof of vaccination is not required.
Patrons are strongly encouraged to get vaccinated, including vaccine boosters as they are available, and to wear a mask whenever possible in indoor public spaces.
We are committed to the safety of all who work, perform, and visit our theatre, and invite audiences to join in the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and all its variants. We have mandated COVID vaccinations for all performers and theatre staff at the Guild, and we administer COVID rapid antigen tests to all actors and staff at least once a week to protect both our guests and our employees.
NOTE: This policy is in effect until further notice; we review current circumstances and CDC recommendations to determine whether our mask/vaccination policies should be revised.
